Computer
Science is a study of both computing, hardware and software. Computer science
covers a variety of topics related to computers, ranging from abstract analysis
of algorithms to more concrete subjects such as programming languages,
software, including hardware. In contrast to Informatics Engineering which
places more emphasis on the application side, the Computer Science study
program focuses more on the 'science' of the computer field itself.
The development of the era is accelerating due to drastic
technological changes. So from that Computer Science personnel are needed in
employment because all human needs can be facilitated because of technology.
A graduate of Computer Science has a job prospect that is
quite capable. As we know, today the technology industry is growing rapidly in
the world and almost all companies need IT experts who can solve
computer-related problems both from software and hardware. Some examples of
professions that can be undertaken by a graduate of Computer Science are:
Progammer, Web Developer, and IT Consultant.
